Our Author Assistance Program provides practical publishing assistance at an affordable price, helping authors bring their manuscripts through preparation, production, and distribution.
We believe that valuable biblical teaching should not remain unpublished simply because an author cannot afford expensive publishing services or does not understand the technical requirements of the publishing industry.
Our Complete Publishing Package
$395 — Complete Publishing Assistance
Our Complete Publishing Package provides the essential services needed to prepare a manuscript for publication and guide the author through the publishing process. We offer professional, affordable assistance from manuscript preparation through publication and distribution.
Services Included:
Manuscript Preparation: Assistance preparing the author's completed manuscript for professional book production, including formatting and layout.
Interior Book Design: Preparation of print-ready interior files suitable for the selected publishing platforms.
Cover Design: Development and preparation of a book cover appropriate for the manuscript and its intended audience.
ISBN Assignment: Assignment of an ISBN from Light of Yeshua Publishing for accepted books published under our imprint.
Amazon KDP Publishing Assistance: Preparation and assistance with listing the book for sale through Amazon's publishing platform.
IngramSpark Publishing Assistance: Preparation and assistance with distribution through IngramSpark, making the book eligible for ordering through participating bookstores and other retailers.
Publishing Guidance and Handoff: Assistance understanding the publishing process and the author's responsibilities after publication.
Our purpose is to provide an affordable publishing service without unnecessary expenses or complicated service packages.
The $395 fee covers the services described in our Author Services Agreement. Manuscripts requiring substantial rewriting, extensive editing, specialized illustration, translation, or other work beyond the agreed scope may require a separate quotation and agreement.
Who May Apply?
Light of Yeshua Publishing welcomes inquiries from Christian authors who desire to share messages that encourage believers, strengthen families, promote biblical understanding, and advance the work of the Kingdom of God. We are particularly interested in books that teach the Scriptures, encourage Christian discipleship, share personal testimonies of God's faithfulness, and provide practical guidance for living according to His Word.
We recognize that sincere believers may differ in their understanding of certain secondary doctrinal matters. Agreement on every point of biblical interpretation is not required. However, we believe that the foundational truths of the Christian faith must be respected, and we reserve the right to determine whether a manuscript is appropriate for publication under the Light of Yeshua Publishing imprint.
Every manuscript submitted for consideration will be reviewed for its content, biblical integrity, and suitability for our publishing ministry. We are not obligated to accept every manuscript, and we may decline material that we believe would mislead readers, undermine foundational biblical teachings, or conflict with the purpose and mission of Light of Yeshua Fellowship.
Our desire is to work cooperatively with authors who share our commitment to communicating biblical truth with clarity, integrity, and love.
How the Publishing Process Works
1. Initial Inquiry
The author contacts Light of Yeshua Publishing and provides basic information about the proposed book, including its subject, intended audience, approximate length, and current stage of completion.
2. Manuscript Review
We review the manuscript to determine whether it is appropriate for publication under our imprint and whether the work falls within the services included in our Complete Publishing Package. If additional preparation or specialized services are needed, these will be discussed before proceeding.
3. Publishing Agreement
Once a manuscript has been accepted, the author receives an Author Services Agreement explaining the publishing services, fees, responsibilities, and arrangements for publication. Work begins after the agreement has been accepted and the required payment arrangements have been completed.
4. Book Preparation
We work with the author to prepare the manuscript and cover for publication. This includes formatting the interior, preparing the cover, and producing the files required by the selected publishing platforms. The author reviews and approves the completed materials before publication.
5. Publication and Distribution
The completed book is submitted for publication through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark according to the agreed publishing arrangements. These services make books available through Amazon and potentially through bookstores, online retailers, libraries, and other distribution channels. Individual retailers determine whether they will list or stock a particular title.
6. Author Handoff and Ongoing Responsibilities
After publication, we provide guidance concerning book ordering, promotion, and ongoing management. The author's responsibilities, access to publishing accounts, and arrangements concerning royalties and future changes are established in the Author Services Agreement.
What Authors Should Know
Our goal is to help Christian authors produce professionally prepared books and make them available to readers through established publishing and distribution channels. We believe it is important that every author understands both the opportunities and the responsibilities involved in publishing.
Authors remain responsible for the originality and accuracy of their manuscripts, including obtaining permission to use copyrighted material belonging to others. Before publication, each author will have an opportunity to review and approve the completed manuscript and cover.
Publication through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark provides access to established book distribution networks, but it does not guarantee sales, bookstore placement, reviews, or financial success. Individual retailers determine which books they will list, order, or stock.
Copyright ownership, royalties, publishing account access, and responsibilities for future revisions or updates will be explained in the Author Services Agreement. We want every author to understand these arrangements before entering into a publishing relationship with Light of Yeshua Publishing.
